Noice photos! Wot is a thermette?
Looks like a mini steam boiler but what drives it?

Yes, also a question about the thermette - is this for a single cup of tea?

Hi Stafford & Jeannette - thanks for dropping in on this blog. About thermettes I think the best thing is for your to have a look at this site as you will be able to see how a thermette works. For fuel my father always sat a small tin with meths under it, on Old Forest we usually pop sticks down the centre and light them as we have so many sticks! Jeannette this website says it has a half gallon capacity which is just under 2 litres. We love or thermette as it boils so quickly.
