March 3 -18 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday on old Forest again this year even though there was so much damage as a result of the storms, there still is so much of beauty; I loved the birds especially.

Our caravan is very old and our camp very primitive but we enjoy it all the same. A very relaxing peaceful holiday.

I spent my time eating, sleeping, reading and thinking, enjoying all ....and taking photos.

Hi Marilyn; I can not think of a better holiday then a holiday in a natural forest. The equipment does not have to be the most up to date. We always say good food, good company and a comfy bed somewhere in natures wonderland is the best. I have joined Sepia Saturday some weeks ago and enjoy it very much, as I like to rummage in old photos. t is also sort of a remembrance journey for me.

Hi Titania I agree about a holiday amongst nature is the best, our caravan is extremely primitive but we so love the bush and it's not too far from the sea so we feel as though we have the best of both worlds. Like you I have many old photos and I love all the memories that go with them.

Hi Marilyn, just stopped by to thank you for commenting on my blog, I have thoroughly enjoyed revisiting NZ, it's been a while since we visited in person and is lovely to be reminded of what we are missing.

Hi Angela - thanks so much for visiting. This blog is updated after each of our annual holidays as it is a record of our time spent on our bush block.

Hello Marilyn Thank you for visiting my Blog and telling me of the 925 Swagies...So very many. Very sad.
Your Old Forrest photos are so tranquil. Who cares if the caravan is old. It gets you there and you have a lovely restful time..there is nothing like getting out with nature. Bless you. CML

Hello Crystal Mary, thank you visiting this blog and becoming a follower - I only up date it after we have holidayed which is once a year. Our caravan is fine but it doesn't allow us to holiday when the weather isn't the best, we do enjoy it so much when we do go down though.
